"Rotate & flip pillows and cushions, thus distributing the wear and tear on your upholstery."
"Upholstery should be cleaned on a regular basis. Not only is it an investment - but we also spend hours in close contact while sitting, eating and napping."
CLOTH Upholstery cleaning differs from carpet and tile cleaning because of its more delicate surface. First we inspect the fabric to determine which method of cleaning will be best suited: hand clean with soft brush and towels or a steam clean. The first step is a thorough pre-vacuum, where we pay particular attention to the deep crevices around and beneath cushions and pillows. This is the place where paper clips, pens, toys, and food crumbs, etc. may grind or rip open the fabric. After cleaning we treat the fabric with a conditioner that neutralizes any alkaline residue from the cleaning process. It leaves the fabric soft with a pleasant fragrance. LEATHER The best routine maintenance for your leather is gently wiping surfaces with a lukewarm slightly moist cotton rag. This will pick up dust and other particles potentially grinding the surface during use. Also make sure that your leather never receives direct sunlight. The telltale sign of neglected leather includes hardened edges, minor cracks and a rough feel to the touch. For most leather, conditioning once a year will be sufficient. Keeping to a schedule will make your leather appear like new for many years. Well conditioned leather also repels liquids far better, allowing you more time to blot up spills before they stain.
