| The road to a barefoot clean carpet Our carpet cleaning begins with an inspection and evaluation of the area to be cleaned. Depending on soiling condition, fiber type and age of carpet we will prepare for the best procedure to do the job. We start out vacuuming your carpet using the outstanding Dyson brand in order to remove allergens and other particles embedded in the fibers. While cleaning your carpet we use a detergent with minimal impact on our health and environment that contains none of the harmful compounds normally found such as Silicates, Glycol-Ethers, Butyls and solvents. We work carefully around furniture - any items that we put back on the carpet will have pads underneath to protect from furniture stains. All our wands are retrofitted with Teflon glides - less abrasive to your carpet, thresholds and baseboards, while recovering 30% more water. Scotchgard carpet protector Scotchgard is a Teflon based product that may be applied to the carpet after cleaning. A Scotch Guarded carpet repel soil and dirt, making you vacuuming much more efficient and it also allowing you more time to blot up stains such as red wine, coffee before they turn into permanent stains. A scotch guarded carpet will stay clean longer and increase the time between cleanings. We recommend Scotch Guarding for those who have much traffic in the house on a permanent basis or those who have events coming up: parties & celebrations, Grand children, puppies or other very high traffic situations on a temporary basis. Area rugs / Orientals Area rugs require extra attention, particularly when they are made of wool or silk. If they are light to moderately soiled, we can clean them on location; otherwise we bring them to the shop where we have more specialized equipment. Color bleeding and shrinkage is always the concern so we work through a very gentle procedure paying close attention to removing as much moisture as possible while ensuring maximum soil removal. |

| Our cleaning system: ServiceMaster By Nielsen uses hot water extraction, popularly known as steam cleaning. The system works by spraying hot detergent (190-210F) onto the carpet at a pressure of (250-300 PSI). Once the detergent has had approximately 5 minutes of dwell time it is rinsed out by clean hot water fed from our 6 jetted titanium wand upgraded with teflon glides - this ensures not only excellent flushing but also very fast dry times. |
